Social Enterprise

Angry Bull Trails
A not for profit enterprise with ambitious goals.

A locally led economic solution that blends social and economic value.

The Real Story.

The real story behind Angry Bull Trails is the mission-orientated approach we have adopted in achieving our goal of long term sustainable economic growth for the town of Tenterfield, NSW. At the same time, our vision is to increase the prospects for youth engagement through ongoing employment opportunities.

We Are Unique.

Our blended approach targeting both social and commercial impact is what makes Angry Bull Trails so unique. Our products and services are 'bundled', to meet the diverse expectations, needs and desires of our partners, stakeholders, and customers. From high octane visitor thrills and experiences to improved health outcomes, new start-ups, education, training, and employment.

Adventure Tourism.

Tenterfield has enormous potential for adventure tourism. Already visitors are prioritising National Parks and State Forests as destinations to enjoy bushwalking, horse riding, fishing and many other activities and the Tenterfield Shire is endowed with some of the best parks and forests in NSW.

Attracting more high value visitors and encouraging them to stay longer is a prime objective of the Angry Bull Trails project. The Angry Bull Trails strategy, explained within the business case that will boost economic activity by $5,000,000 and visitor numbers by 35,000 per annum.

Importantly, young residents will have access to 25 new jobs directly related to the project created in the first 3 years. We are working with our partners Backtrack and Tafe NSW to co-create curriculum that will enable young people to gain skills and be job-ready for the opportunities that this enterprise will create and the multiplier effect will see many more jobs emerging in industries such as:
