174km of Granite Country Riding - Coming to Tenterfield

Built in rugged granite country and shaped by the landscape, this is riding designed to feel raw, real and worth the trip!

CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION

OPENING WINTER 2026

Angry Bull Trails is developing a world-class mountain bike network in Tenterfield, NSW. Designed for adventure, built for all abilities and shaped by the rugged granite landscapes of the region.

The Angry Bull Trails network is currently under development, with trail construction underway across multiple locations. While the network is not yet open, we’re building something truly special - and we’re excited to share the journey as it takes shape.

What’s coming:

  • Flowing singletrack and technical features

  • Granite rock features and natural terrain

  • Climbs, descents and scenic ridgelines

  • Trails for beginners through to advanced riders

  • Adaptive-friendly trail experiences

TRAIL DEVELOPMENT PROGRESS

Trail construction is actively underway across multiple zones within the Angry Bull Trails network, with development progressing in stages as we work towards delivering the full 174km experience.

FOUR TRAIL ZONES

The network is being built across four key zones around Tenterfield, each offering a different style of riding and landscape experience — from accessible, close-to-town trails through to more remote and rugged terrain.

Current work includes:

  • Trail construction and feature development

  • Integration of natural granite formations into trail design

  • Environmental and cultural heritage management

  • Planning for trailheads, signage and visitor infrastructure

Our approach focuses on creating trails that feel connected to the landscape, resulting in a riding experience that is both challenging and deeply immersive.

As construction continues, we are prioritising quality, sustainability and long-term durability to ensure the network delivers a world-class experience from day one.

We’ll continue to share updates as each stage progresses, via our Social Media channels, website and e-newsletter.

ADAPTIVE & INCLUSIVE RIDING

Angry Bull Trails is being designed with inclusion at its core, with a significant portion of the network planned to support adaptive riding and riders of all abilities - making Angry Bull Trails one of the most inclusive trail destinations in Australia.

Accessibility is being considered from the ground-up - influencing trail design, gradients, surface treatments and overall user experience.

This includes:

  • Wider trail corridors

  • Consideration of gradient and flow for adaptive access

  • Integration of accessible trail heads and facilities

  • Opportunities for shared riding experiences across different abilities.

Our goal is to create a destination where more people can experience the freedom, challenge and connection that comes with riding in nature - regardless of their background or ability.

This approach reflects a broader commitment to building a trail network and destination that is welcoming, inclusive and genuinely accessible, while still delivering the adventure and quality that riders expect.
